United Way of Siouxland honors top business supporters in the community [Video]

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – United Way of Siouxland honored community supporters at its annual leadership luncheon, Wednesday afternoon.

The social service organization honored top business supporters, one in each category of small, medium, large, and major.

United Way starts by bringing the top 50 donors who support their organizations. Year after year, the different companies come together to see what’s working in their campaigns and build their own campaign based on employee output for the following year.

“You know as the company campaign continues, they’re a lot of fun, some of them are very elaborate, some of them are very simple campaigns, I think the key is to do, to create a campaign that fits well within your company’s culture, and just have fun with it and have a good time,” said Jeremy Craighead, United Way Community Campaign Chair.
