This used to be the loveliest village in England now residents call it a binhole [Video]

The poet Dylan Thomas once hailed Mousehole in Cornwall the ‘loveliest village in England’, and it’s true the historic fishing spot is incredibly picturesque, with its crystal clear waters and quaint cobbled streets.

But right now, residents aren’t finding the village quite as charming as usual, in fact, some have gone as far as to rename it ‘binhole’, branding it ‘disgusting’.

This is because a row has broken out over wheelie bins, as the council has reportedly rolled out new grey wheelie bins, but the old ones haven’t been removed.

A whopping 10,000 complaints have been made about the old green bins, which have been left on streets for weeks and are now covered in seagull poo.

Local resident Kim Hambleton, founder of the jewellery and gifts shop company Just Lily, has shared her outrage over the situation. She told Cornwall Live: ‘I call our village “binhole” now. There are bins everywhere. Some of these bins are covered in …
