The InfluenceHer Leadership Summit teaches girls confidence [Video]

MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) – Building Bridges 2 Careers and the Marietta Community Foundation hosted the InfluenceHer Leadership Summit at the Washington State College of Ohio.

The summit aimed to teach pre-teen girls about self-esteem, confidence, and empowerment. The kids were paired with their “mentors” and did various activities throughout the day.

Tasha Werry, Executive Director of Building Bridges 2 Careers, said teaching girls how to feel better about themselves is extremely important.
