Several events held in Hartford this weekend [Video]

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – It’s a busy weekend in Hartford with several events around the capital city focused on music, food and comic books.

No matter where you are in Hartford you’re likely to see crowds of people, and there’s a good chance some will be in costumes.

Connecticon is at the Hartford Convention Center bringing in comic lovers from all over.

“It’s a really fun experience, it’s a really great environment. Good community. People can be themselves and also someone else at the same time so it’s really awesome here,” said Elizabeth Finni, Connecticon staff.

Giancarol Collado came up for New York for what he said was one of the better comicons he’s attended.

“This is one of the bigger conventions when it comes to the convention circuit and so yeah it brings so many different walks of life here and it’s just a really cool scene,” Collado said.
