San Diego County National Night Out celebrations 2024 [Video]

SAN DIEGO — Community gatherings with San Diego County police officers, sheriff’s deputies and various other authorities kick off Tuesday as part of the 40th annual National Night Out crime-prevention event. 

Depending on the agency, these events can look like block parties, parades, barbecues or picnics as millions gather across the United States. 

A few of the departments celebrating this year include: San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, San Diego Police Department, Chula Vista Police, Escondido Police.
