Maryland Perspectives: The Humane Society of Harford County [Video]

The Humane Society of Harford County is dedicated to the welfare and well-being of approximately 3,300 animals that come in each year. The non profit promotes the kind treatment of homeless, stray and abandoned animals by providing shelter, care, adoptions, and community education. They are offering discounted vaccines for Harford County residents and have food pantry at the shelter for residents as well. They are not a county agency nor affiliated with any national or regional organization. Marketing and Development Manager Erin Long talks about the animals they care for this summer, their partnership with the Bissell Foundation and how you can get involved.
