Magic Murals to bring artwork to Hartford’s Frontier building [Video]

HARTFORD, Conn. — The façade of the Frontier Communications building located at 111 Trumbull St. in downtown Hartford is preparing for a dynamic new look.

On Aug. 1, RiseUp for Arts, which empowers communities throughout Connecticut to imagine new possibilities through public art and education, announced its new initiative, “Magic Murals,” which will bring artwork to the exterior of the Frontier building.

The project is made possible through the support of Frontier, which serves as the lead sponsor. Frontier’s building on Trumbull Street is integral to the company’s functions and operations.

“There’s more to our downtown Hartford building than meets the eye. The building is at the heart of our work to deliver the fast, reliable connectivity that Hartford needs to compete and lead in the digital economy,” Frontier Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer Mark Nielsen said in the release.
