Is your CRM Down? How to back up your data incase of outages or attacks [Video]

It’s always a good business decision to have a data retention policy and practice in place. Website companies suffer outages and attacks daily. Every CRM / IDX system should allow you to do the following steps:

Open your Leads database
Select All Leads
Find the Export Button and then save that file locally

Name your backup files for easy access. For example: 2024_04_20_WebsiteName.csv

Repeat this process weekly at minimum. Keep a copy on the Cloud Drive (Google, Apple, or Windows) AND keep a copy on your computer hard drive.
