DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (WEVV) —Governor Beshear joined community members and tornado survivors to officially dedicate seven new homes in the region.
These homes are part of an ongoing recovery initiative to rebuild communities impacted by the devastating storms that hit the town in December of 2021.
44News spoke with New Homeowner, Betty Hernandez, on her experience during the storm.
“We were preparing for a Christmas dinner, on the 11th at one. The trees came down in the living room and in the bedroom, glass went everywhere,” Hernandez expressed.
