Fresno firefighter in need of plasma donations [Video]

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Fire Department is calling on the community to help a fellow firefighter who is currently in the hospital.

Captain Ray Trevino, a San Jose firefighter, who lives in the Central Valley is currently in the ICU in need of plasma.

His son, Kyle Trevino expresses his gratitude to the community and the fire department’s support in a statement:

“Thank you to all of our brothers & sisters in the fire service, our local Central Valley community, and the community of San Jose for the outpouring of support in our time of need! We could not get through these trying times without all of you. My father Ray is still recovering but showing a lot of improvement with the plasma treatments.
