Former Alabama star gets Lamborghini NIL deal [Video]

Isaiah Bond is one of two Texas football players to earn NIL deals with Lamborghini Austin, it was announced Thursday.

Lamborghini Austin, in a release, selected the former Alabama receiver and Texas safety Michael Taaffe as promotional partners for the 2024 season based on their “strong academic achievements, community leadership, and success on the field.”

Bond, who transferred to Texas after two seasons at Alabama, had 48 catches for 668 yards and four touchdowns in 2023 with the Tide, including the game-winner against Auburn.

“The Lamborghini Austin Promotional Partner Program rewards student-athletes for success in the classroom, contributions to their community and performance in sports,” Bruce Knox, managing partner of Lamborghini Austin, said in a release.
