FOP Blennerhassett Lodge #79 host Youth Pool Party/Drug Free Picnic [Video]

VIENNA, W.Va. (WTAP) – Ryan Black, the future president of the Fraternal Order of Police Blennerhassett Lodge, said that this event has been going on for the last 20 years in Vienna.

This was a way for the group to contribute back to the community from the FOP of Blennerhassett.

Black said that is also a way for kids to get a chance to see friends again before school starts up.

“Schools coming up,” Black said. “Their engaging with each other. It gives them the opportunity to come together, see each other again. Friends being reunited before the school season starts up again.”

Black added that this is a way for kids to meet law enforcement and to let them know that they are there for them if an emergency happens.
