Fill the Bus school supply drive brings in materials for 300 students [Video]

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) – Hundreds of students have been helped as the community provided many donations to the Fill the Bus school supplies drive.

After weeks of working together to help students start the school year strong, the golden heart community donated enough materials to support about 300 students according to the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District. That’s about five school buses worth of school supplies.

While supply drive partners were sorting through the donated items on Monday, August 12, those involved spoke to the importance and impact of the donations.
