Evansville Rescue Mission in need of bottled water after issuing red flag warning | News [Video]

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) —As the summer heat intensifies, the Evansville Rescue Mission has issued a Red Flag warning, signaling a critical need for action to protect the most vulnerable members of our community.

The Rescue Mission, which has long been a lifeline for Evansville’s homeless population, is stepping up its efforts to provide essential support during this heatwave. 

The Red Flag warning, outside of their building signals as a response to the dangerous heat, showing the shelter is intensifying its efforts by offering expanded services.
