Circle Cinema holds special event with actor Ethan Hawke, filmmaker Sterlin Harjo | News [Video]

TULSA, Okla. — Circle Cinema held a special event featuring actor Ethan Hawke Sunday night.

The Tulsa Film Collective presented a screening of his new film, ‘Wildcat’ followed by questions and answers with Sterlin Harjo.

Hawke is in town shooting ‘The Sensitive Kind’ with Harjo and a star-studded cast.

FOX23 Morning Anchor Ron Terrell spoke with Shagah Zakerion from the Tulsa Film Collective. She says Tulsa’s strong presence in the film community makes events like this possible.

“This is a direct result of the investment that creators like Sterlin Harjo have invested in our own city,” Zakerion said. “He has made it a mission to bring the outside into our community and cultivate from the ground up.”
