Buffalo City Mission plans first ‘5K Run for The Homeless’ [Video]

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo City Mission will host the first ever ‘5K Run for The Homeless’ to raise money and support community services. The race will kick off on September 7 at 9 am. Registration is now open and the first 100 runners or walkers to sign up will receive a free t-shirt. 

“Our 5K Run for the Homeless is an exciting community event that embodies the spirit of compassion and generosity that defines our city of good neighbors, and the passion found within the running community,” Buffalo City Mission CEO and Executive Director Aubrey Calhoun said. 

“Whether you walk, run, or volunteer, we invite everyone to be part of this inaugural event, which directly supports our critical community services and ongoing efforts to uplift those in need.”
