Free Back to School Fest at Cleveland Public Auditorium [Video]

CLEVELAND — The school year is officially underway for Cleveland Metropolitan School District students, and the city is hosting a Back to School Fest to support its students and families as classes get back in session. 

Mayor Justin Bibb announced his administration partnered with more than two dozen community organizations on the Back to School Fest, which will be held at the Cleveland Public Auditorium on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon. The mayor’s office said the city hopes to give away 5,000 sets of school supplies to help students and their families prepare for the school year. 

The Back to School Fest will also feature games, activities and other resources from the city’s community partners, including MetroHealth, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, The Literacy Cooperative, College Now Greater Cleveland, the Greater Cleveland …
