North Plains man arrested after shooting at parked cars and structure [Video]

WASHINGTON COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) – A man is accused of opening fire on parked cars in the North Plains area.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said several cars and a building were hit.

People living off of Northwest Dairy Creek Road near North Plains said they enjoy the wide, open spaces and its convenient proximity to town, and said it is a close-knit community.

“Basically, it’s just considered Mountaindale. It’s nice and quiet up here and that’s why I like it up here. There’s plenty of farmland around us,” said a neighbor. “Most of us know each other, so everyone keeps an eye on each other.”
