MISD teams up with 2 Word Character Development to bring the Texas Way Initiative to athletics program.

MIDLAND, Texas —

One of the biggest things Texas is known for is their love for sports. MISD is teaming up with 2 Words Character Development to make sure that bad sportsmanship doesn’t ruin junior high and high school sports in the district.

“We’re here to launch the Texas Way, a statewide sportsmanship initiative aimed at increasing the quality of sportsmanship at UIL contest, decreasing the number of ejections at those contests and strengthening communities and the relationships between coaches, players, fans and officials,” said Stephen Mackey, founder of 2 Words Character Development.
