RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Zonta Club of the Black Hills is holding a rummage sale fundraiser in Rapid City on Friday, September 13 and Saturday, September 14 to raise money for community projects and advocacy work trips.
Zonta is an international group that has clubs in 66 countries around the world. The organization recently sent a member to Australia for a Zonta convention.
In addition to the aforementioned purposes, money raised by the fundraiser will also go towards scholarships that Zonta offers to girls.
“We are an international service organization of primary women, but it’s not limited to women,” said club member Margo Julius. “And our mission is to improve the status and enhance the status of women and children. Both locally and globally.”
