Your vote in August could lead to more options and lower costs for childcare in Missouri [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Childcare experts say there’s a shortage of daycare centers around Kansas City which has left many families priced out of giving their kids a good start to an education to be ready for grade school.

Some Missouri State lawmakers believe they found a solution through a property tax exemption daycare facility can get but it’s up to voters on Aug. 6th to approve it.

Daycares like Kaye’s Learning Corner in Kansas City are watching if Missouri Voters will decide if their facilities can bypass property taxes in order to save money for better classroom lessons and lower costs for parents.
