Amazon has just released a useful Alexa update which is aimed at helping users keep up to speed with the latest Gen Z lingo. From today you’ll be able to ask your Echo speaker, “Alexa, talk Gen Z to me” with the chatty assistant then revealing the 20 most popular Gen Z phrases.

It might be a good time to learn with research from the online retailer suggesting that 35 percent of Gen Z’ers claim they cringe when someone from an older generation uses slang incorrectly.

Stats also show that 83% percent of Gen Z’ers say that older generations often fail to understand their slang, and over half of the older generation have confirmed that they’d welcome assistance on understanding Gen Z terminology.
