Young Professionals of Meridian learns more about what the Carter Foundation does for the kids in the Queen City [Video]

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – The Young Professionals of Meridian is back after a long hiatus during the COVID pandemic.

This group of young adults is out in the community with the spirit to give back once again.

Its members gathered at The Carter Foundation Monday to learn what the organization provides the kids of Meridian.

During the Young Professionals meeting James Carter spoke about the role of leadership and how it is important for committees like this one to be leaders and mentors for youth.

“We learned a lot of just how they’re influencing kids here in the community, trying to promote education, provide an outlet for kids to get involved, to build future leaders here in Meridian and really across the region.
