The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, is not fit to lead the country.
According to him, during Mahama’s era as president in 2014, guinea fowls under the Savannah Accelerated Development (SADA) project flew to Burkina Faso.
It will be recalled that in 2014, the management of SADA made headlines when reports emerged that guinea fowls under the initiative had migrated to neighbouring Burkina Faso.
Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV on October 17, 2024, Chairman Wontumi emphasised that Mahama must be rejected and urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
