BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you have ever thought about bringing some of the world’s most famous works of art to life, now is your chance.
“We invite members of the community to create living representations of famous artworks for prizes. This year, we’re handing out over four-thousand dollars in prizes to the winners of these tableaux,” said Charlie Garling, Delaware North Director of Learning and Creativity at the Buffalo AKG.
The 28th annual Art Alive event on the Great Lawn at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum is being held on October 19.
“The Great Lawn is going to be absolutely full of living representations of artwork from the Buffalo AKG’s collection. There’s going to be music. There’s going to be prizes. It’s going to be a fantastic time,” said Charlie Garling.
