WVU Medicine Camden Clark hosts Health and Wellness Day [Video]

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The WVU Medicine Camden Clark Health and Wellness Center hosted a Health and Wellness Day.

It is important to make time to check on your health.

There were low cost vouchers available to get lab work done and many different information resources offered by WVU Medicine Camden Clark.

All proceeds from this event will go towards different community efforts supported by the Rotary Club in Parkersburg.

“The purpose of this fair is to raise awareness and to educate the public on different medical conditions and how they can prevent it in the first place. We have a lot of options and opportunities here to learn more about different diseases and your risk for developing that disease and how we can prevent it in the first place with things like routine lab work, blood tests, EKGs and so on.” said Elizabel Thomas M.D., Resident Physician.
