As we reflect on the 2024 Championship Tour season, we are incredibly grateful for the collective effort of our community-surfers, fans, local partners, Indigenous and First Nations peoples, and passionate volunteers-who joined us in protecting our ocean and coastal ecosystems. Through WSL One Ocean, we’ve continued our commitment to sustainability and community engagement. Today, we are proud to share our 2024 Purpose & Impact highlights below:
- 480,625 planted trees since 2018 from carbon emissions offset
- 110,720 corals planted by the end of 2024 with Coral Gardeners and Mamanuca Environment Society
- 53,720 hectares of land restored
- 26.3 tons of trash removed from beaches and rivers
- 4,536 volunteers mobilized worldwide
- 3,504 youth educated
- 17 local impact projects funded
