PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) – The first and only Leonardo da Vinci Museum of North American could be coming to Pueblo.
On Thursday, Pueblo city leaders and Vice President of the Board of Southern Colorado Science Center, Craig Eliot Cisney will present to the Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) and try to get approval to repurpose the old PBR Sports Performance Center as this museum.
Throughout the world there are museums dedicated to the artist, engineer and scientist Leonardo da Vinci but there are none in North America. Now, community leaders in Pueblo are working to change this and make Pueblo home to this one-of-a-kind attraction.
Cisney explains what the museum would feature saying, “The museum itself is actually three components. It’s a Leonardo da Vinci Museum of North America the first of its kind anywhere and then it will also be the Steamworks Interactive Science Center.”
