Newsweek has mapped the riskiest cities in the world for tourists, according to a report compiled by Forbes Advisor.
Forbes Advisor’s report was compiled by comparing 60 destinations across metrics which included:
- Crime risk.
- Health security risk: The level and quality of health care services and infrastructure.
- Personal security risk: Risk from crime, violence, terrorist threats, and natural disasters.
- U.S. Department of State travel safety rating.
- Digital security risk: The ability of citizens to use the internet without risk of privacy violations, identity theft, and other forms of online attacks.
First on the list for riskiest cities was Caracas, Venezuela, with a score of 100 out of 100.
