To promote international collaboration in dance education, the Beijing Dance Academy marked its 70th anniversary by initiating the establishment of the World Dance Education Alliance. This initiative aims to create a platform for nurturing talent, encouraging innovation, and fostering partnerships in dance education globally. To date, 70 institutions from 38 countries have joined, reflecting both the expertise of global dance education and the widespread commitment to building a shared artistic community.
In interviews, several prominent figures, including Rosanna Gamson, Dean of the Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at California Institute of the Arts and Deborah Damask, Director of the Dance Education Program at New York University shared their thoughts and expressed optimism about the power of culture and art to connect the world.
