World Community Engagement Corporation holds Christmas event [Video]

COLUMBUS, Ohio — It’s the season of giving and spreading Christmas cheer around the city. When we come together and open our hearts and doors to all, the magic happens.

The joy of Christmas was felt inside the Word Community Engagement Corporation on Wednesday as dozens gathered to celebrate.

Children in attendance had the opportunity to pick out toys, sing Christmas carols and take pictures with Santa.

“This is what’s bringing me the most joy, the smiles on their faces,” said Kavunaa Edwards, co-founder of Blendon Minds Learning Academy.

Edwards brought the children from the daycare this year to make sure they didn’t miss out on the love and joy.

“I think a lot of times, people get misconstrued about what Christmas is about, but this is what it’s about. Giving back, being with family and spreading joy,” said Edwards.
