Womans engagement ring stolen from jeweler at Washington Square Mall, she says [Video]

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A Beaverton woman says she learned on Wednesday that her 12-year-old engagement ring was likely stolen earlier this month while being repaired under a long-term warranty plan.

Megan Garrison said she brought her ring to Kay Jewelers at the Washington Square Mall to have the diamond fixed on Nov. 6.

The day before Thanksgiving, she said the store couldn’t find her order and after speaking to corporate, learned it was likely one of many items stolen from a UPS truck at the site sometime this month.

“I feel compelled to let the community know if you’ve given your jewelry to trusted hands at the Washington Square Mall, call, check and make sure they still have it,” Garrison said.
