Woman injured in Indian River Road shooting [Video]

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A woman has serious injuries after a shooting in the 4300 block of Indian River Road on Sunday afternoon.

Chesapeake Police Department was called to the scene at 4:40 p.m., according to a police department press release. They found that a shooting in the parking lot had left the woman with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The incident is still under investigation, and police are asking for help.
