A woman says she’s “so hurt” after her best friend cut her as a bridesmaid — but kept everyone else.
In a post on Reddit‘s “Wedding” forum, the woman detailed her feelings after being “sacked” as a bridesmaid for a wedding next summer. Despite the bride and groom planning a $30,000 event and the bridesmaid dress only costing $250, they told her they needed to go down from four to three bridesmaids due to “cost-cutting measures.”
The poster, who was asked to be a bridesmaid four years ago, doesn’t think that the price of the bridesmaid dress is “that big of a deal” in the grand scheme of things, and said that her gift to the couple would have exceeded the cost of the dress. She also would have been willing to pay for the dress herself, as would the rest of the bridesmaids.
