Woman dead after industrial accident in Goodfield [Video]

GOODFIELD (25News Now) – The Woodford County Coroner says a woman was pronounced dead after an industrial accident.

Coroner Tim Ruestman says Lisa M. Hofmann, 40, of Pekin, was pronounced dead at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the CaseIH facility at 600 E. Peoria St. in Goodfield.

Hofmann was struck by a forklift and died from multiple blunt force trauma, Ruestman said.

Toxicology testing will be performed.

The accident is being investigated by the Woodford County Sheriff’s Office, coroner’s office and OSHA.
