According to reports, the hip-hop artist, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, is facing charges of unlawful possession of drugs following an incident where they were using marijuana during their performance at the Beach Please! Festival on Saturday evening in Romania.

In a recent press release issued on Sunday, per People magazine, the Romanian anti-organized crime prosecutors, DIICOT, announced that the Directorate has launched criminal proceedings for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism – Constanța Territorial Service against a defendant who is a “US citizen.” They further claimed that the investigation is focused on the alleged unlawful possession of drugs risk.

It went on to say, “During a recital held during a music festival held in the resort of Costinești, Constanța county, [Khalifa] possessed over 18 grams of cannabis (risk drug) and consumed (on stage) another amount of cannabis under the shape of a craft cigarette.”
