CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – Clemson football advanced to the College Football Playoff after a record-long field goal from a freshman. He’s making a name for himself while building on his parents’ legacy.
“Nolan Hoo-zer. A lot of people say How-zer,” Tigers Freshman Kicker Nolan Hauser sounded out his name during his first career press conference on Sept. 3rd. “I mean it was pronounced How-zer growing up. I always had to spell it How-zer. But Hoo-zer is the real last name and how you pronounce it.”
Hauser won’t have to introduce himself at Clemson anymore. His dad was a pitcher on a Clemson baseball team that made the College World Series, his mom was an All-American soccer player for the Tigers and his sister is on the soccer team now.
