Where to Watch, Stream Peacock’s Anatomy of Lies [Video]

Former Grey’s Anatomy writer Elisabeth Finch said she had cancer, was abused by her brother, and that she lost a friend to a mass shooting. But according to those who knew her, it was all a lie. 

These deceptions are explored in the upcoming Peacock docuseries Anatomy of Lies, which features interviews with Finch’s “closest contacts,” including former friends and colleagues. In the docuseries, the participants look back on their conversations with the screenwriter, whose “jaw-dropping lies fooled Hollywood for years, and became fodder for many high-profile episodes of Grey’s,” per a press release.

“I think she saw her life like a TV series,” one person reflected in the official trailer. “You have to keep going big, because that’s how you keep your audience.”  

These tragic plot lines kept viewers tuning in to the medical drama, which garnered praise for its inclusion of such sensitive and prescient topics.
