HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Former President Donald Trump will hold his first rally in Pennsylvania since the attempt on his life earlier this month in Butler County.

John Sancenito, President of ‘Information Associations Network,’ is a security expert who has worked with former presidents and the United States Secret Service to secure high-profile political events. Sancenito believes security will drastically increase when the former president visits Harrisburg on Wednesday, June 31.

“There’s a tremendous amount of planning that goes into every event,” Sancenito said. “What happened in Butler was the exception, not the rule.”

Sancenito said the rally being held inside the Farm Show Complex makes things safer for not only the former president, but also attendees.

“In an indoor environment, you can control the facility, you can sweep the facility and you can control and screen the people as they come in,” Sancenito said, adding that individuals will likely have to pass through metal detectors.
