Drivers can expect delays this weekend as large parts of the highway close for roadwork.
PHOENIX — Drivers in Phoenix can expect major delays this weekend as a large stretch of Interstate 10 will close for road work starting Friday, ADOT announced.
The westbound lanes of I-10 will be closed between US 60 and I-17 from 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 until 4 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 9.
The following ramps will also be closed, according to an ADOT press release:
- The ramps from westbound US 60 to westbound I-10
- The southbound SR 143 ramp to westbound I-10
- The eastbound I-10 ramp to northbound SR 143
The following ramps will also be closed from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, to 4 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9:
- The westbound I-10 on-ramps at Elliot, Baseline and Broadway roads, and 40th and 32nd streets
- The westbound US 60 on-ramps at McClintock Drive, Rural Road and Mill Avenue
