The last thing we all heard about Wendy Williams was that she was “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled, and incapacitated” due to her dementia. But in new footage shared to social media, things may not be what they seem after all.

On Sunday, the former eponymous daytime talk show host was spotted out in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. grabbing some food to-go from a Black-owned seafood spot. In a video posted to Instagram, Williams can be seen and heard greeting the workers in the backseat of a black car as they repeat her famous quote “how you doing?” back to her.
