Weinbrenner looks out for union members by donating boots after Hurricane Milton [Video]

MERRILL, Wis. (WSAW) – We’ve all seen the devastation from Hurricane Milton. Homes, businesses, and communities were destroyed. Now, people are working to rebuild and they are getting help from northcentral Wisconsin.

Weinbreener, a shoe company donated 1,200 boots to union workers in affected areas.

We’ve seen organizations donate food, supplies, aid, and clothes, but one Wienbrenners employee says people are forgetting about union workers, so he went to management with an idea.

Caleb Peckham is a White Line Lead at Wienbrenners. He’s been watching videos on the impact of Hurricane Milton like us. Seeing how horrendous the hurricane was he thought about union workers and all the construction they’re going to have to do.
