Weather cancels Camp Hill National Night Out, plans altered [Video]

Residents have been encouraged to stop by the Camp Hill police station and grab some free ice cream on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 7-9 p.m.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — Severe weather may have canceled Camp Hill’s National Night Out, but officials aren’t letting it interfere with a good time!

The Camp Hill Police Department announced that due to the event cancellation, the department has donated Brusters ice cream they want to share with the community.

Residents have been encouraged to stop by the Camp Hill police station and grab some free ice cream on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 7-9 p.m. or until the ice cream runs out! 

Due to forecasted severe weather on Tuesday evening, multiple National Night Out events were canceled or postponed.
