Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly is condemning a political ad using images from the Waukesha Christmas parade attack attempting to link Democratic U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin to the attack that killed six people in 2021. “I was upset,” Reilly said in an interview Wednesday. Baldwin is facing Republican challenger Eric Hovde in the closely watched race.Darrell Brooks was convicted and sentenced to life in prison for intentionally driving his SUV through the parade route. Brooks was out on a $1,000 bail at the time. The ad, produced by the third-party Republican group One Nation and not affiliated with any campaign, attempted to link Baldwin to the controversially low bail.
