Waterville Festival of Trees concludes with resounding success [Video]

WATERVILLE, Maine (WABI) – Waterville’s annual Festival of Trees concluded on Sunday, December 1st, with over $5000 being raised on its final weekend alone.

The Festival of Trees is an annual fundraiser that aims to support those in need of food or other goods with the aid of local businesses – and the community at large.

Over 40 trees were on display this year, accompanied by donated gifts such as toys, gift cards, and home goods.

For just 50 cents per ticket, visitors could enter a drawing for any of these trees and the gifts underneath them.

Guests could also purchase 50/50 raffle tickets and gain entry into that prize pool.

Beyond raising funds, the Festival of Trees is a chance for the community to come together as one.
