Water main break closes portion of Bryan Boulevard in Greensboro [Video]

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Update (1/15, 2:30 p.m.): The City of Greensboro now says Bryan Boulevard is closed from Pembroke Road to Green Valley Road because of the water main break. The road is now expected to open by 5 p.m. on Thursday.

A 12-inch water main break has closed the eastbound lanes of Joseph M. Bryan Boulevard in Greensboro from Fairway Drive to Green Valley Road, according to the City of Greensboro.

The city said in a press release that crews are expected to be on-site until lanes reopen, which should be by 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid this area.
