GENDER reveals have taken to internet by storm in recent years, with some going perfectly and others creating a hilarious story to tell.

One couple from Northern Ireland has had an experience with the latter, admitting it still manages to give them a laugh.

Simon and Bronagh Laverty live in Craigavon, Co Armagh, and captured the whole thing on their Ring doorbell.

The video shows the unfortunate, yet hilarious, moment that the gender reveal balloon popped before the couple had the chance to share their big moment with loved.

They were inspired to send in the footage after seeing Ring on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
