Lost remotes, slow television connection and shopping for a new TV can cause annoyance and stress. 

In a new campaign titled Less Screaming. More Streaming. streaming technology company Roku positions these problems as blood-boiling sources of household tension. The campaign launched with three 30-second spots featuring families and couples embroiled in shouting matches due to the stress of their TV-related issues. 

In one, a man visiting his parents is stressed to the point of screaming about how their new smart TV “sucks” and the interface is confusing, meaning it’s not smart at all. 

In another, a couple shouts at each other while researching which new TV they should buy, lamenting the overwhelming choices.

The final spot centers around a family of four shouting at each other as they search high and low for their television remote.
