James Earl Jones was behind iconic film moments in Star Wars, The Lion King, and Field of Dreams.

Clips of his best-known roles have resurfaced following the announcement of his death aged 93 on Monday, 9 September.

The American actor enjoyed a storied career, receiving three Tony Awards, two Emmys and a Grammy for his work.

His voice will live on; in 2022 he signed off on archival voice recordings to be manipulated for future iterations of Darth Vader with the use of artificial intelligence.
