WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — With 2024 nearly over, Warner Robins Police Chief Wayne Fisher grows closer and closer to his one-year anniversary after taking over in his new role.

In 2024, he says their department saw a lot of wins. They held five town hall meetings. The department held meetings in each quadrant, plus one geared toward the Latino community.

“I feel like we just won the Super Bowl,” Fisher said.

He also said they kept a steady decline in crime. Fisher said that in 2023, your chance of becoming a victim of a crime was 12.7%.

“Your chance of being a victim in the city of Warner Robins based on the population is 8.7,” he said
